“Looking for consciousness in the brain, is like looking inside a radio for the announcer.” Nassim Haramein
As an acupuncturist trying to find clinical reasoning for why acupuncture works, it can be quite frustrating. A lot of the time we only have case studies with great results that go back a couple of thousand years, but as yet we don’t have enough evidence that has stood up in the trials. These trials have been conducted in the only ways we know how at the moment. Sooner or later someone is going to come up with some tests or trials that will show what we can only know from observation of patient results, as of now. Sooner or later we will be able to prove how and where the energy moves in the body and how that affects us on a daily basis.
Quantum physicists have brought so much understanding of the metaphysical world out into the open, but because we can’t see the energy that they talk of, we allow our scepticism to rule. It all sounds a bit ‘far-fetched,’ a bit of a stretch for our imaginations. We can’t see electricity, but we know what happens if we stick our finger into an electrical socket, or how we can benefit from the results of using electricity. At some point in time there must have been a tipping point of acceptance, when it was no longer okay to scoff at what the experts were saying, when you were in the minority. I wonder how long it will be, before talking about consciousness and the metaphysics of the energetic world becomes the norm, and we have moved on to something else to stretch our minds with.
Enjoy being a philosopher!
