“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” Anais Nin
Are any of you sitting on the edge of the cliff knowing you should jump but listening to the fears? OK I know it would be crazy to literally jump so those fears are real, but what about all the others that create a constant babble of noise in your head, drowning out the passion and dreams you have to do something else with your life. I get it, it can get quite noisy in there at times. You understand though what is happening physiologically don’t you.
That fear is driving us to operate from our hind brain like all other animals. As humans we have a cortex in that part of the brain directly above our eyes that sets us apart. It is the conscious, intellectual, thinking part of the brain. We make it so difficult for it to operate properly, when we allow those voices in the head to drag us back and down. Have you thought of asking yourself, “Is this fear real? How do I feel when I believe that fear? Who would I be if I didn’t believe it? I for one would be helping more of you to feel more fulfilled as you allowed the petals to open and go for your dreams and desires.
Enjoy the pain of taking a risk into your dreams!
